Rejuvenate Yourself With The Game Of Pacman

The game of Pacman came into being in the latter half of the 20th century, in the year 1980 to be precise. It was first launched in Japan by the company Namco. Pacmanwas set up as a game that was played in a covered passageway with shops and stalls on either side or an arcade.
 

The game is a simple one to understand, though not easy to play. Each level has the same objective- to direct the pacman to eat up all the dots that are scattered around the passageways. However, the difficulty comes when Pacmanhas to avoid the four ghosts that are his main hurdles. These ghosts ramble around the passageway and a slightest touch with them makes the pacman lose a life. When all dots are eaten up, the player of the game is moved to the next level. 

Based on a Japanese folklore, it was created as a simple game. It became popular like other video games and its creation came to be hailed as a remarkable incident in the world of games. Its immediate popularity was unprecedented. All video games lovers instantly fell in love with it which contributed to its further development by Namco in the form of other pacman games which were adventurous, interesting and fun to play.

The reason behind its prompt popularity was due to the fact that it was very different from other arcade games like Asteroids and Space Invaders that were already being played by many, both young and adult.
